Snapshot from Luxury of SurvivalThe projection on the facade of the Grand Theatre - National Opera House in Warsaw will be the first presentation of the work Dominik Lejman "It hurts, I feel nothing" in 2000 - in the context of architecture. As the curator of the exhibition Luxus of Survival, Stach Szabłowski, puts it:

"Balerina performs dance on belt. The situation is initially obvious, but when you look carefully, you will discover that something is not right - even if that movement seems to be a subject other than the usual laws of physics. Indeed, the ballerina dances upside down, suspended by the leg on a tape. Picture hanging up dancer was reversed by 180 degrees - turned the same rules governing the reality of the image. Gravity does not seem to work and ballerina seems to be flying away. In classical ballet artists tryi to overcome the law of gravity. Ballet, in fact, is imbued with the idea of denying gravity. Here the only element that keeps the dancer to the ground, is attached to the leg strap: ballast, a leash is not allowing it to break away and glide. "

Projection was performed for the first time iat the Center of Contemporary Art in Warsaw in 2000, so rarely presented so far.
