The Heineken Open'er Festival is the largest Polish open-air music and performing arts festival and definitely the most important music event in Gdynia - a city in the north of Poland at the Baltic Sea coast. It is a special place on the Polish map, where people from more than 30 countries meet, enjoy the best performances and have a great weekend. Total area of the festival in Babie Doly airfield as big as 75 hectares will host 7 stages, around 120 artists, festival town with merchandising area, gastronomic zones, camp site, beach, sea and sun, space for sports activities and multimedia, NGO, films, theaters and performances. 10 hectares are dedicated to campers’ place, where the true festival admirers go to sleep in their tents after the dusk.
The first edition of the festival back in 2002 was held in Warsaw and starred The Chemical Brothers. The following year, the festival was moved to Gdynia. Throughout the history of the festival the following artist performed: Cassius, Kosheen, Cypress Hill, Pink, Massive Attack, Fatboy Slim, Lauryn Hill, Snoop Dogg, The Streets, Basement Jaxx, Björk, Placebo, Gossip, The Prodigy and many many others international big stars.
